ROOF TILE MANUFACTURER, Russell Roof Tiles, is continuing its sponsorship of Burton Albion Football Club as the Brewers embark on their landmark 75th season.

To commemorate the club’s history, Burton Albion has unveiled a new kit for the 2025/26 season that pays homage to its original 1950 strip. The design not only mirrors the historic colours but also features the Staffordshire Knot, a symbol of regional pride and heritage.

The company has remained a steadfast supporter of BAFC since 2016, standing by the team through both promotions and relegations. In addition to its shirt sponsorship, the firm also sponsors the East Stand at the Pirelli Stadium, located close to its Burton headquarters and one of its three manufacturing sites.

Andrew Hayward, Managing Director of Russell Roof Tiles, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate Burton Albion’s 75th anniversary and to continue our close partnership with a club that’s at the heart of our community. We’ve been proud sponsors for almost a decade, supporting not only the team but also the fantastic work of the Burton Albion Community Trust. Through both the highs and the lows, our commitment has never wavered – it’s about our love for the club and the town.

“We’re also proud to support Burton Albion this season, especially as it coincides with a significant milestone in our company’s journey, the completion of a multimillion-dollar investment in our local sites, reinforcing our commitment to remaining at the forefront of manufacturing in the region.”

Local Support

Beyond its sponsorship of Burton Albion, RRT is committed to supporting the local area. The company recently invested over £18.5 million in a factory extension in Burton upon Trent, creating new job opportunities. The manufacturer says this new plant at its Nicolson Way main tile manufacturing site will double output and help to continue to increase efficiencies and capacity.

Andrew added: “For us, success isn’t just about quality products – it’s about the strength of the community around us. Whether through our work with the Burton Albion Community Trust, our ongoing sponsorship of the club, or creating new local job opportunities, giving back to Burton upon Trent will always be central to what we do.”

Andrew Whitham, Head of Commercial at Burton Albion, added, “We’re proud to partner with Russell Roof Tiles, a company that shares our passion for supporting the local community and driving excellence. Their continued commitment to the Brewers strengthens our shared vision for long-term success both on and off the pitch.”
