Robert Price Acquisition is First Outside Wales

ROBERT PRICE Builders’ Merchants has completed its first acquisition outside Wales of Hereford-based building supplier, Tudors Building Supplies Ltd.

Robert Price is the largest independent builders’ merchant in south east Wales. The acquisition of independent merchants, Tudors, and its two specialist branches (roofing, and kitchens, bathrooms and landscaping), sees the Robert Price group expanding to 27 branches across South Wales, from Swansea in the west to Chepstow in the east. The addition of a branch in Hereford, extends the company’s reach to over the English border.

Tudors supplies a range of roofing materials for roofers working in both the commercial and domestic sectors, including on flat and pitched roofing projects.

After completing the business purchase incorporating Tudors into the Robert Price group, the Hereford building suppliers will continue to trade under the Tudors name.

Lawyers, Hugh James advised Robert Price on the company accretion.

This latest expansion follows a consistent period of growth for Robert Price, with several deals, including most recently the addition of Aberdare-based building and roofing suppliers, Builders’ Bitz to the firm in February 2021.
