Precision Facilities Management Acquisition of Commercial Roofing Contractor

LEICESTER-BASED FACILITIES management company, Precision FM, has announced the acquisition of commercial roofing contractor Internal Xternal Solutions, adding to its commercial maintenance service division.

The acquisition expands Precision FM’s roofing repair and maintenance service which forms part of the company’s existing facilities management portfolio.

Brij Thankey, CEO at Precision FM said: “We are delighted that through this deal we’ve been able to bring the Internal Xternal Solutions team into the Precision FM family. We have a long working relationship with them and this acquisition will allow us to bring their wealth of knowledge and expertise within the commercial roofing sector to our comprehensive suite of facilities management services.

The deal ensures continuity for existing clients and staff, with a TUPE transfer of employees from Internal Xternal Solutions to Precision FM, including the senior management team, ensuring a consistent level of customer service for current clients.

Founded in 2012, Precision FM now manages over 1,000 buildings, covering the whole of the UK and Ireland. Having previously worked with the roofing contractor for over six years on a contractual basis, the acquisition allows Precision FM to expand the full range of services they offer to their clients nationwide.

Precision FM has enjoyed a strong period of growth, despite the challenges of the past 18 months, which Brij believes is due to the company ethos of ‘Nourishing Our Roots’ aimed at forming a culture where staff and clients can thrive.
