The site, a sorting office, is being redeveloped by BlueSky Building. Prater has been appointed to deliver the roofing package to include a new canopied area that will cover the through route from the road to the loading area, which will be an inverted roofing solution. In addition, Prater will be delivering refurbishment works to the existing loading bay at the building with a single ply warm roof solution. Karl Moxon, Sales and Estimating Manager at Prater, said, “We are thrilled to partner with BlueSky Building on this important phase of the overall development for such a prestigious end client. “Royal Mail Mount Pleasant will still be continuing its busy operations throughout the works – with deliveries being taken to-and-from the sorting office 24-hours a day, requiring a proactive and collaborative approach to deliver a quality project in a challenging environment. “Our specialist expertise in providing bespoke solutions, partnership approach and understanding of the project challenges and Royal Mail’s continued operations were therefore instrumental to our contract win, as well as our core health and safety ethos and ability to meet tight deadlines.” Previous article College Links Up with Housebuilder on New DevelopmentNext article Bolton College’s 2020 Apprentice of the Year is a Winner Share article You may also like View all News Industry News +2 20 March 2026 RA Issues Revised Safety Guidance on Rooflight Covers Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Green Roofs +3 20 March 2026 Swansea Joins Global Network of Biophilic Cities Featured Solutions +3 19 March 2026 Flush Fitting Rooflights by Clement Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
