Phenna Group Acquires Materials Testing Provider

PHENNA GROUP, the global provider of testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services, has acquired materials testing and geotechnical services provider, Testall.

Headquartered in Nottingham, UK, Phenna Group says its aim is to invest in and partner with selected niche, independent Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) companies that serve a variety of sectors, ensuring customers’ peace of mind by delivering first-class testing and assurance services.

The acquisition is Phenna’s 21^st deal in 2025, with Testall named the 23^rd company to join the group’s Infrastructure Division. Phenna Group says the deal marks “another important step in expanding our capabilities and geographic reach”.

Materials Testing

Established in Ireland, Testall has built a reputation for its expertise in materials testing, site investigation, and geotechnical analysis. The company serves clients across both the public and private sectors, supporting infrastructure, construction, and civil engineering projects.

Testall will become part of Simtec, Phenna’s specialist materials testing business, building on a year of growth that has seen new locations opened in London and East Anglia alongside the add-on acquisition of CTS Ltd in Northern Ireland. Phenna Group says this latest addition “enhances Simtec’s ability to deliver high-quality, responsive testing services across the UK and Ireland”.
