Read the latest magazine Industry News PermaGroup Secures Investment for Growth and Acquisitions 21 April 2022 DERBYSHIRE BASED PermaGroup, has secured private equity investment to fuel its plans to expand its product range, market penetration and to fund acquisitions of compatible businesses. The Alfreton building products company gained the funding from UK-based private equity firm, Owner Venture Managers Ltd. PermaGroup started life in 1999 as PermaRoof, initially focusing on flat roofing, as an importer and distributor of Firestone rubber roofing and single ply EPDM roof coverings. Achieving steady growth, the company has since expanded to include a range of brands offering commercial roofing, rooflights, financing, as well as fencing, artificial grass, garden rooms and DIY kits under the PermaGroup umbrella. The business saw record-breaking growth in 2021, increasing its annual turnover by 37.5%, despite the escalating materials costs and supply chain pressures experienced industry-wide. PermaGroup Investment The private equity investment with support from funders Beechbrook Capital and Investec Capital Solutions, will allow PermaGroup to fulfil ambitious growth plans for greater market reach. Law firm Geldards LLP arranged the deal from its East Midlands Corporate team who advised on all elements of the transaction.
