The website details all the personal health and business support on offer from the NHS and government. The website can be found here, with information also available over the phone on 0330 123 4714 and over email, on coronavirus@nfrc.co.uk James Talman CEO NFRC NFRC Chief Executive James Talman said, “Apart from promoting a dedicated phone number on all matters related to COVID-19, it is essential that we are receiving information and feedback from all strands of our membership. “There are common matters and there will be issues which affect large employers, SME’s, micro businesses and the self-employed. We need to consider the whole supply chain, the importance of two-way communication and how we can assist to keep it working as best as possible. “We are well placed through our federal structure to have a clear understanding of regional variations and the situation in the devolved nations. “Our priority is to assist our members in keeping sites working where safe to do so and to supporting members in as many ways as possible to weather this storm.’ Roofing Awards rescheduled The federation has also rescheduled the 2020 UK Roofing Awards in the light of government advice and restrictions on large gatherings The awards had been scheduled to take place on 1 May at the InterContinental London at the O2 arena. However, the event will now take place on 2 October with all tickets still valid. NFRC Chief Executive James Talman said: “The UK Roofing Awards is the roofing industry’s flagship event and we are all so disappointed that the Event inevitably had to be moved. “However, we look forward hopefully to a more optimistic time for everyone in October and to delivering the event to the highest possible standards. “We will continue to follow advice and protocol from the UK Government and NHS.” Previous article Millions of Jobs Saved with Job Retention SchemeNext article Union Calls for Government to Support Construction’s Self-Employed Share article You may also like View all News Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Awards and Events +3 19 March 2026 Six Weeks Left to Enter the 2026 SPRA Awards Awards and Events +2 17 March 2026 UK Roofing Awards 2026 Finalists Announced Awards and Events +3 16 March 2026 Rooflight Association Official Partner of UK Construction Week 2026 Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
