New Managing Director for Roof Systems Manufacturer

ROOF SYSTEMS manufacturer, Marley, has appointed Stuart Nicholson as its new managing director.

With more than three decades of experience in the construction industry, Stuart has spent 15 years with Marley, most recently in the role of roof systems director.

Following his appointment as MD, he will continue to lead the company’s strategy, designed to maintain and enhance Marley’s position in the UK roof systems market.

At a time of change and challenge for the construction sector – with legislation amendments such as the imminent Future Homes Standard promoting the creation of energy efficient, low carbon dwellings – the company says Stuart will “spearhead Marley’s response, through ongoing product innovation, industry leadership and expert-led support for those working in the sector”.

“We will continue to build on the talent, skills and ingenuity of all our employees, which in turn will bolster the proven performance of our extensive product portfolio for our customers.

“At the same time, we will also continue to help upskill the wider roofing industry, so customers can stay ahead of the changing construction landscape and capitalise on the business opportunities that offers. A key part of this will be investing in our quality-led training resources, which will extend the reach of courses, such as our solar PV installation course for roofing contractors. This will equip contractors will the skills needed to feel confident about the future.”
