WITH HIGH winds sweeping across the UK this week, the HSE has released a report to ensure scaffolders carry out the correct procedures to ensure safe working conditions on site.

Scaffold Checklist

The guide intends to clarify when a scaffold design is required and what level of training and competence those erecting, dismantling, altering, inspecting and supervising scaffolding operations are expected to have.

The ‘Scaffold Checklist’ provides an in-depth breakdown of correct procedures during scaffold design, supervision and inspection. It also highlights the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations (2005) and the recognised standard of configuration that all scaffolded sites should adhere to.

If you are looking for scaffolding services, you can find licensed scaffolders here. The ‘Scaffold Checklist’ is also available to download on the HSE website.
