Read the latest magazine Industry News Merchants National Buying Group Announces First New Suppliers of 2019 29 January 2019 EIGHT NEW National Buying Group (NBG) suppliers have been announced for 2019, expanding the groups offering in the plumbing, insulation, branded ironmongery and security, civils and tools and workwear sectors. The new suppliers: Talon Manufacturing, Don & Low Textiles, CCF, Etex UK, Jablite, ROCKWOOL Limited, Cascade Lighting and Aldridge Security Limited, join NBG’s existing bank of over 130 suppliers. First New Suppliers of 2019 NBG now have direct accounts with Jablite, the biggest manufacturer of EPS insulation, and ROCKWOOL, the biggest manufacturer of stone wool insulation in the country. In addition, NBG have a new deal with CCF a national distributor of insulation and roofing products. International manufacturers of fibre cement and reinforced concrete, Etex Exteriors’ UK arm is also on the list. Managing Director at NBG, Nick Oates, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our new suppliers to kick start, what we hope to be, a very exciting year for NBG. They’ve joined us at a brilliant time in terms of expansion and growth for not only NBG but our partners too. “We’re looking forward to working together and continuing to provide our partners with the best deals to ensure that they can remain competitive.” Other new suppliers include, plumbing accessories suppliers, Talon Manufacturing, join NBG as one of the market leaders in plastic, hinged and metal pipe clips. Textile manufacturer Don & Low is also joining the buying group for independent merchants. Established in 1792, Don & Low have long been at the forefront of geotextile innovation, with a strong focus on sustainability. Family-owned Aldridge Security Ltd joins NBG as one of the largest security wholesalers in the UK and Ireland and prides itself on loyalty to independent customers.
