Read the latest magazine Industry News Solar MCS Launches New Website 18 September 2025 MCS, the UK’s quality mark for small-scale renewables like solar panels and heat pumps, has launched its new website. The MCS website has been designed with both industry and consumers in mind, and includes improvements to existing tools to improve user experience. The Standards and Tools Library now gives users the ability to search an archive of past versions of Standards, as well as share documents directly from the site with colleagues or customers through channels like WhatsApp. The improved Product Directory, meanwhile, provides clear segmentation between product types and the ability to download a product listing straight to the user’s device. And for consumers that are looking for an MCS certified installer, the Find an Installer tool has been optimised to enable them to more easily find the installer best suited to their needs. Along with these improvements, the site also features a new Find a Training Course tool that allows installers to easily search for an MCS accredited training course. New MCS Website The new site has been created with accessibility front-of-mind. MCS has invested in a web accessibility solution that features a range of customisable tools, including: Text-to-speech Translation Customisable styling Reading aids MCS says this launch is a ‘key step’ towards delivering on its mission to give everyone confidence in home-grown energy by making the sector more accessible for a wide range of audiences.
