MCRMA Welcomes SPV Special Projects as New Member

BUILDING ENVELOPE refurbishment specialist SPV Special Projects has become the latest member of the Metal Cladding & Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA), helping to strengthen its position at the forefront of technical innovation, quality and skills development.

The West Midlands based roofing and cladding contractor, which is a division of Phoenix Consortia alongside sister-companies Howard Evans and Ivor Parnham Building Services, has established itself as a market leader through its capabilities across many different sectors, including the commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, education and healthcare sectors.

Joining the MCRMA was regarded as another important step for SPV Special Projects to demonstrate its dedication to continuously improving technical standards relating to the building envelope, and ensuring it continues to adopt the latest best practice in every project.

The MCRMA is one of the UK roofing and cladding industry’s longest established associations, supporting everyone in the metal system supply chain, as well as assisting specifiers and clients commissioning these systems. Its membership includes product and system manufacturers and suppliers, stockholders, installers, independent roofing and cladding inspectors, plus a host of industry support service providers.

The association’s dedication to being “the building envelope authority” is reflected in the extensive technical and training resources it provides, as well as its active participation in shaping future industry standards through its collaboration with the Construction Products Association (CPA).
