MBO Completes of Construction and Maintenance Firm

A management buyout has completed by the existing management team of Westmann Contracts Limited.

Westmann Contracts is a Lancashire-based commercial construction and maintenance business, delivering services nationally.

The previously family business provides a range of services, from minor works and refurbishments through to larger design and build projects, with in-house capability across engineering, M&E and roofing systems.

The primary buy-out objective was to sell the business to the existing management team while retaining an equity stake for the founding family, ensuring continuity for the stakeholders and allowing the business to move forward under its existing leadership.

The deal was led by Chris Evans, corporate finance partner at Logros Advisory Partners. Chris was engaged to project manage the sale process, ensuring the deal was structured to meet the client’s needs and support them through to completion.

Chris Evans, Logros Advisory Partners, commented: “This transaction provides a majority exit for the founding family of Westmann Contracts, while retaining a minority stake to participate in future upside. The sale to management will allow the company to continue its progress under its current leadership team.”
