Sitebag partners include those offering insurance, online training, finance, building materials tools and workwear amongst many others. Launched last year by Master Roofers UK, the head of the organisation Stewart Rowles, is committed to raising standards in the roofing sector while supporting his fellow roofing professionals. Support for Self-Employed Roofers Stewart said “Our goal is to help roofers understand that when you are self-employed you are running a business. “Knowing what this entails and where to get the support you need to be successful is vital. We’ve used our knowledge and connections across the industry to create a suite of providers that know the industry very well and can help.” “As a roofer who has run my own company, and also having worked as a self-employed roofer, raising professionalism amongst self-employed roofers is a passion of mine. “It’s estimated that around 40,000 roofers are self-employed, of which we estimate that around 20,000 are active members of our digital Master Roofers UK community. The Sitebag portal offers a range of services and products targeted at roofers, many of them offering specially negotiated discounts for the UK’s self-employed roofing professionals. But its not just self-employed roofers that Sitebag would like to attract, as Stewart continued: “We also would love for roofing businesses to look to support us too – raising the professionalism of their subbies is of a huge benefit to them as well. “How can they do that? Well, taking workwear as an example, we have negotiated discounted rates with a market leading supplier. In addition to securing substantial savings on products, knowing that each order will help to support and grow our Master Roofers community and strengthen its ability to make the industry better, will be a great additional benefit.” >> Read more about Master Roofers UK in the news Previous article Encon Appoints New Regional Fire Protection ManagerNext article Royal Pavilion’s Iconic Dome Roof Restored after Public Appeal Share article You may also like View all News Industry News +1 10 August 2026 Insulation Specialist Welcomes Technical Training for Teens Health & Safety +3 10 August 2026 Fragile Roof Fall Lands Building Contractor in Court Industry News +3 10 August 2026 Solar Growth Cushions Subdued Marley Roofing Profits Green Roofs +2 10 August 2026 HS2 Burton Green Tunnel Roof Now Complete Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 125 July-August 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
