MAKITA HAS added a new air compressor to its Quiet Series range. Designed for use across a range of applications to enable efficient and consistent operation of tools, the new, compact MAC210Q is the latest air compressor to be launched by the leading tool manufacturer, and it is available in 110V or 240V options.

The new one-HP, two-gallon, oil-free electric MAC210Q including case and base, carries all the Makita hallmarks that users rely on – faster recovery time, lower noise, longer tool life, and consistent performance.

Makita Quiet Series MAC210QWith a low noise level of just 60dB(A) and weighing just 44lbs, the MAC210Q is perfectly suited to indoor use and easy to transport around site. To increase ease of operation, a low AMP draw reduces incidents of tripped breakers at start-up, while the lever-handle tank drain system makes for easy air tank release.

Other key features include a powerful 1 HP induction motor which provides two CFM at 90 PSI with a maximum tank pressure of 135 PSI. Additionally, the compressor runs at a lower RPM, ensuring a longer lifespan for both the motor and pump, which are also protected by a roll-cage construction that provides added protection during transportation, storage, and on the job site.

Kevin Brannigan, Marketing Manager at Makita UK commented: “Air compressors are hardy companions for workshop professionals – they need to be robust and reliable, while being practical and ergonomic. Makita offers all of this with the lightweight and portable MAC210Q, which delivers high performance at low noise levels.”
