Charity Team Challenge Sarah Spink, LRWA CEO Discussing the 2024 event, Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA, said: “Once again, it was fantastic to see so many people get involved in the challenge and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. “We have been overwhelmed by the number of posts, shares and likes on LinkedIn which have helped to boost fundraising as well as our sector’s profile. The competitive spirit was clear to see as the teams sought to top last year’s results and find new backdrops for their photos! “We really appreciate the time and effort people have put into entering the challenge and would like to thank everyone who took part and kindly donated.” The challenge took place from 24 June – 12 July 2024 and will see winners Sika receive their charity challenge trophy at the annual LRWA Awards and Gala in March 2025. The LRWA has been raising money for LandAid since 2021, donating circa £35,000. The charity invests more than £2 million every year in projects working to end youth homelessness with a focus on safe, secure and affordable accommodation for young people across the UK. The LRWA Go Fund Me page was set up for the event and is still live so fundraising can continue. >> Read more about the LRWA in the news Previous article BMI Apprentice of the Year 2024 Judges AnnouncedNext article Launch of Skills England Share article You may also like View all News Charity News +2 17 March 2026 Tips for Improving Workplace Stress Management Charity News +2 4 March 2026 Band of Builders Completes Life-Changing Project for Retired Builder Charity News +2 18 February 2026 Volunteer Roofers Needed for Upcoming Band of Builders Projects Charity News +2 12 February 2026 Charities Team Up to Deliver Suicide Prevention Live Webinar Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
