A total of 20 project finalists have been chosen across four categories. A panel of independent judges – including liquid waterproofing specialists, specifiers and contractors – reviewed all submissions anonymously to reveal the shortlist. The selection process was based on strict criteria, including project complexity, standard of workmanship, evidence of problem solving, and aesthetics. The names of the contractor and manufacturer in each entry were omitted prior to judging. Biggest Event Yet The winners of each category will be announced at a gala dinner on Wednesday 20 March 2024 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool’s Stanley Dock. As well as a winner for each project category, there will be a highly commended award. As in previous years, the gala dinner will also recognise the talents of individuals, including awards for ‘Trainer of the Year’ and ‘Student of the Year’. The LRWA Awards is now in its sixth year. Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA said thanks to headline sponsors, Sika, and other membership support, 2024 is planned to be the biggest event yet. Commented Sarah: “Every year we’ve seen the standard of entries become even higher, and this year has been no exception. The variety of projects shortlisted further demonstrates the versatility of liquids across a number of sectors and diverse applications. “Thanks to the backing of our generous sponsors, we can deliver another sell-out event that brings contractors, clients, manufacturers, and suppliers together. We’re in for a treat at the 2024 awards, in what remains a highlight in the roofing industry calendar.” 2024 Awards Finalists The finalists for the 2024 LRWA Awards are: Liquid Roofing Project of the Year <1000m2: Hilton Hyde Park Central Dome – Remmers & Building Transformation Carpenders Park & South Kenton Stations – Sika & Everlast Rail Solihull Preparatory School – Makers Construction & Polyroof St John the Baptist Church, Rochdale – Kemper System & Castle Contractors NW Ltd Yiewsley Methodist Church – Moy & Kingsley Roofing Liquid Roofing Project of the Year >1000m2: Emirates Stadium – Triflex & Topek Southern Ltd Madley Communication Centre – Sika & Nautilus Roofing and Exteriors Ltd Metquarter Shopping Centre – Makers Construction & WestWood Liquid Technologies Millstream West – WestWood Liquid Technologies & Premier Property & Construction West Suffolk Hospital – Sika & Cambridge Flat Roofing Liquid Roofing Project of the Year in a Buried Application: 8 Bishopsgate – Lindner Prater & Radmat Prospect Place at Battersea Power Station – Volker Laser & Alumasc Grand Union – StructureCare & Tremco CPG UK McGee House – Polyroof & MLG Building Contractors Old Bailey – WestWood Liquid Technologies & Ilfield & Barrett Roofing Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year: Podium Basement Multi Storey Car Park – Makers Construction & Triflex Shmuseum – WestWood Liquid Technologies & Cure Group The Plaza Shopping Centre – Cemplas & WestWood Liquid Technologies The Wedding Cake – WestWood Liquid Technologies & EMC Roofing & Cladding Valaris Oil Rig – Widopan & Barbers Specialist Waterproofing The winners of the Trainer of the Year, Student of the Year, will be announced on 20 March 2024. >>Read more about the LRWA in the news Previous article One Week Left to Enter 2024 UK Roofing AwardsNext article Lindner Prater Continues Losses After Writing Off Prater Debt Share article You may also like View all News Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Awards and Events +3 19 March 2026 Six Weeks Left to Enter the 2026 SPRA Awards Awards and Events +2 17 March 2026 UK Roofing Awards 2026 Finalists Announced Awards and Events +3 16 March 2026 Rooflight Association Official Partner of UK Construction Week 2026 Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
