Logistics Firm Extends Transport Contract with Marley Ltd

LOGISTICS and supply chain consultancy firm, Wincanton, has extended its arrangement to manage the distribution of Marley Ltd’s products across the UK until 2023.

Transport Contract Extended

The five-year contract will continue a working relationship between the two companies that started in 2008.

Wincanton will continue to manage roofing manufacturer Marley’s distribution from across six UK-wide sites: Beenham, Bridgend, Burton-upon-Trent, Glasgow, Keele and Gainsborough. The Gainsborough site specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of roof battens and decking products, alongside the transport of inbound materials from port.

Paul Reed, Managing Director of Marley said: “We are delighted to have extended our transport contract with Wincanton who have the expertise, experience and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of our customers and our business ambitions.”
