We are very excited to debut this new and much needed event, and grateful to all the knowledgeable experts who have got on board and given up their time to speak at the Forum.” Building Safety Week The Building Safety Forum will be held as the first event of the newly created Building Safety Week, an industry wide initiative of partners representing the whole supply chain. With a focus on education and idea sharing, this new scheme hopes to bring different parts of the construction sector together in order to raise awareness of the importance of safety in the buildings that we inhabit, and champion those who demonstrate a commitment to best practice. Mike Costain added, “Building Safety is a real challenge for the construction industry and has the potential to plague the industry if standards aren’t raised in line with public expectations. The Building Safety Forum represents a great opportunity for professionals to network and increase their understanding of the changing rules and regulations that are shaping the modern industry’s development.” AGENDA 09:00 Networking breakfast 09:30 Opening remarks 09:35 Welcome and opening Keynote 09:50 Opening Keynote 2 10:05 Building Safety Act update: Key changes for Specifiers, Housebuilders, Developers, and Local Authorities 10:25 4Site Case Study 10:45 BSF Champions panel: Exemplars of Building Safety case studies 11:15 Coffee break 11:30 Gateways panel: Managing the Building Safety Act’s requirements at every stage 12:00 The importance of Product Information and CCPI in light of the Building Safety Act 12:30 Quality assurance & technical support, and updates on Homes England’s Cladding Safety Scheme 12:50 Update on Industry Competence Steering Group (ICSG) 13:15 Networking lunch 13:45 InstallerSHOW visit 16:00 Networking drinks at the National Home Improvement Council Theatre To find out more, and to view the agenda with speakers and sessions overviews, visit the InstallerSHOW website. >> Read more about InstallerSHOW in the news Previous article Rooflight Association to Debut at InstallerSHOW 2025Next article NFRC Parliamentary Reception Celebrates Tackling Skills Shortages Share article You may also like View all News Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Awards and Events +3 19 March 2026 Six Weeks Left to Enter the 2026 SPRA Awards Awards and Events +2 17 March 2026 UK Roofing Awards 2026 Finalists Announced Awards and Events +3 16 March 2026 Rooflight Association Official Partner of UK Construction Week 2026 Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
