Read the latest magazine Industry News LHC Invites Public Sector Professionals to The Future of Frameworks Webinar 4 February 2022 AN LHC webinar aimed at public sector professionals will explore the latest research and key issues around the best use of frameworks to deliver the standards of the Construction Playbook. Hosted by LHC’s London & South East team, The Future of Frameworks: Constructing the Gold Standard offers a timely look at what the industry must do if it is to meet the government’s ambitions and provide the best service and procurement solutions to clients and communities, including examples of best practice. LHC Professor David Mosey King’s College London Centre of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution It will feature a presentation from Professor David Mosey at King’s College London Centre of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, and Alison Nicholl, Head of Constructing Excellence. In their session, they will discuss the Construction Playbook and Professor Mosey’s recent findings of the government’s independent review on frameworks, which culminated in the recent publication of Constructing the Gold Standard. LHC’s Head of Technical Procurement, Dean Fazackerley will also share his input into the report. Ethan James, Acting Regional Manager at LHC London LHC Alison Nicholl Head of Constructing Excellence & South East said: “This webinar couldn’t come at a more crucial time and will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the key players helping to change the future of public sector procurement and construction.“It will provide insights into the most important policies to hit the industry, directly from some of those involved in shaping them.” LHC Frameworks Webinar The LHC webinar will also introduce three of its latest and most innovative framework offerings: the Engineering Inspection Services Framework (EIS) which launched in September last year, the Architect Design Services Framework (ADS1.1) launched last October, and the Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services Framework (MDC1) launched earlier this month. Ethan added: “We’re ready to support these latest guidelines and help drive the industry forward through our frameworks, unveiling two of our newest and most innovative during the event. These frameworks have a much greater scope, with new evaluation processes to drive a stronger focus on EDI and social value. “They will provide opportunities for a more varied range of talented appointed companies and help to drive more diversity in the industry.” The Future of Frameworks: Constructing the Gold Standard will take place on Thursday 10 February at 9am – 11.15am.
