Key Themes Announced for NHBC’s Building for Tomorrow Event

THE LINE-UP for NHBC’s Building for tomorrow event, which celebrates its 30^th anniversary in 2021, has been revealed.

In March, NHBC, the leading warranty and insurance provider for new homes in the UK, will be hosting a completely new format of Building for tomorrow. This will be in the shape of a three-day virtual event. Attendees will be able to pick and choose the sessions they wish.

Key themes

Focusing on five key themes: new homes quality; safety and change; climate change; MMC; the future housing market and beyond, and High-rise. This year’s event will have more than 20 hours of content with 30 plus speakers.

Alongside NHBC experts, confirmed speakers include representatives from Zoopla, Lloyd’s Banking Group, the Home Builders Federation and the new Building Safety Regulator at the HSE.

Speaking about the 2021 Building for tomorrow agenda, NHBC Regional Director Nick Cunningham, said: “We are very pleased to be able to announce the new-look event as the industry continues to recover from the pandemic and other challenges.

“It really is an event for everyone. Whether you’re a traditional house builder, working in the affordable housing or Build to Rent sector, or a contractor or developer. Building for tomorrow will have plenty to inform and interest you.

This event will be taking place from Tuesday 23 March to Thursday 25 March. Each ticket includes access to the event platform from Thursday 18 March when you can upload your contact information to inform your networking opportunities and session selection for the live event.
