JCT Announces Autumn 2024 Training Courses

JCT HAS ANNOUNCED the dates for its autumn 2024 series of training courses featuring two full-day in-person courses and two three-hour webinar courses.

Scheduled from September to November, the courses will focus on individual contract families from the JCT 2024 Edition of Contracts.

The following sessions and dates are available:

In-person Courses

• Thursday, 17 October 2024 – JCT Intermediate Building Contract 2024
• ​Thursday, 14 November 2024 – JCT Design and Build Contract 2024

Online Courses

• Wednesday, 25 September 2024 – JCT Design and Build Contract 2024
• ​Wednesday, 23 October 2024 – JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2024

Led by the same trainers as for the in-person courses, the webinars are a convenient way to learn about JCT contracts in a way that fits in with a variety of flexible working environments. Interactivity is provided through the training interface, which enables participants to post questions to the trainer.

JCT Training Video Modules

In addition to the autumn courses, JCT has also released the first JCT Training Video Modules covering contracts from the JCT 2024 Edition – ‘Introduction to JCT Design and Build Contract 2024’ and ‘Introduction to JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2024’.

For those wanting an introduction to JCT or just a quick refresh on a particular element of a contract, JCT Video Modules provides a user-friendly way to access JCT Training content. Users can purchase individual modules or a complete series, providing an overview of a particular contract or legal issue.
