IBMG Acquisition of Independent Roofing Supplies

THE Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) has announced its acquisition of Independent Roofing Supplies (IRS), expanding its specialist roofing division in the South East.

Independent Roofing Supplies is a local merchant providing a range of products for pitched and flat roofs from its three locations in Bexhill, Newhaven and Hove.

The IRS branch network and product range provide IBMG’s roofing division with further geographic expansion, product extension and a strong platform for further growth, the company says. IBMG adds that culturally, both companies share a common vision, independent ethos and commitment to providing the highest standards of customer service.

Directors, John Wond and Andy Mansfield will continue with IRS, working with Danny Spokes, Managing Director for IBMG’s roofing division, to ensure the business’s successful integration into the Group.
