Huws Gray Invests in New Timber Engineering Facility

INDEPENDENT BUILDERS’ MERCHANT, Huws Gray is investing in a new 40,000 sq. ft production timber engineering site. The new facility will add to the company’s timber frame, roof trusses, metal web joists and spandrel panels offer.

The new facility, based in Bangor, Wales is in addition to the existing engineering plant in Welshpool. It will more than double the company’s operational capacity, creating local employment with production and design opportunities.

In-House Timber Engineering

Osian Jones, Area Manager for Huws Gray Timber Engineering said: “We are very optimistic about the expansion of this division of the business. We are confident that we can service any customers timber engineering requirements, by offering a complete solution that is fully managed in-house.”

“We have decades of experience within the teams based at both sites and state of the art machinery to deliver the highest specification on products.”

In addition to the investment of the new site and vehicles, the company has started recruiting roles to support the expansion and plans further new jobs in the next 12 months.
