Ground to Roof Offering Created by Acquisition Integration

CONSTRUCTION PRODUCT PROVIDER, Mapei UK Ltd has announced that of the 31^st October 2020 Polyglass GB will become a part of its operations.

In 2008 Mapei Group purchased Polyglass’ worldwide business and until now the UK subsidiaries of each company have remained separate entities.

The decision to integrate the two businesses aims to strengthen both Midlands-based construction product providers.

Ground to Roof

Philip Breakspear, Mapei UK Managing Director commented, “The integration of Polyglass GB business in Mapei UK will further strengthen our product offer to our customer base, allowing Mapei to supply and specify from the ground to the roof creating a one stop shop for construction professionals.”

Polyglass’ business will become a new product division of Mapei UK. The continuity and experience Polyglass are renowned for with their existing customer base will not be affected and their contacts will remain the same, with products still being dispatched from their premises in Willenhall.

Mapei UK, the Halesowen-based subsidiary of the Italian Mapei Group is well known for their installation systems for all types of wall and floor coverings. Their specialist construction products include concrete repair, waterproofing, structural strengthening, concrete admixtures and wall coatings amongst their 20 product lines. With Polyglass, Mapei will now be able to offer their client base an extended range of waterproofing membranes and roofing systems.
