Global CEOs to Convene at Hampton Court Palace for Summit on Sustainable Transition

10 March 2026

Hampton Court

The Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), founded by King Charles III, will bring together hundreds of global CEOs tomorrow.

International delegations and innovators will attend the annual SMI Roundtables & Exhibition at Hampton Court Palace, to accelerate the transition to a sustainable global economy.

The summit aims to demonstrate the economic case for sustainable transition, cross-market opportunity and growing connections between Earth and Space-based industries.

Leaders from business, finance and government will agree on collective action worldwide through to 2030.

The forum takes a ‘private sector first’ approach to delivering a transition, aiming to build new cross-sector partnerships that accelerate pragmatic solutions at scale. It will also share inspiring examples of private sector progress and to advance commercially aligned opportunities.

The event also celebrates the 175th Anniversary of the Great Exhibition of 1851 with a range of exhibitors from clean energy, space, sustainable materials, and cutting-edge technology.

Sustainable Transition

Guided by its Mandates – the Terra Carta and Astra Carta – the SMI connects CEOs to put Nature, People and Planet at the heart of global value creation. They will come together to tackle large-scale, cross-industry challenges that no single organisation or sector can solve alone.
