Glidevale Protect Launches New Flat Interlocking Tile Ventilator Venta-Line TLE

BUILDING PRODUCTS manufacturer Glidevale Protect has expanded its comprehensive range of roofing ventilation solutions with the launch of the Venta-Line TLE, a flat, interlocking low profile tile ventilator designed specifically to fit with thin leading edge (TLE) roof tiles.

Engineered for use with large format concrete tiles featuring a slim, leading edge profile, the Venta-Line TLE ventilator delivers roof space ventilation for both new build and refurbishment projects. It can also be installed as a terminal for soil pipe ventilation or a mechanical extract, when used with Glidevale Protect’s Soil Universal Adaptor and Flexi Pipe.

The tile vent integrates seamlessly with adjacent tiles, replacing a single roof tile while maintaining a consistent appearance across the roof line. Its unobtrusive profile and flush grille ensure the vent is virtually unseen from the ground, helping to preserve the aesthetic of the roof. Built-in weather protection and concealed baffles safeguard against rainwater ingress, while the integrated lower tray channels water away from the throat of the vent to prevent ponding.

Produced in the UK from UV stabilised uPVC with embedded silica sand for a realistic surface texture and a polypropylene base plate made with up to 100% recycled content, the Venta-Line TLE is available in seven UV stable house colours to match the most popular thin leading edge tile finishes. It offers a minimum geometric free ventilation area of 10,000mm² and is suitable for roofs with a pitch of 20° and above, helping to meet the requirements of BS 5250.

Compatible with many leading thin leading edge roof tiles including Russell Galloway, Condron Senior TLE, Marley Edgemere, Northstone Causeway and Redland Richmond 10, the Venta-Line TLE provides roofing contractors with a holistic solution for modern tile ventilation requirements.
