Glidevale Protect Launches New Digital Resources to Support Installers

DRAWING ON its expertise as a producer of one of the broadest collections of pitched roofing and construction membranes, Glidevale Protect is continuing to support roofing contractors and merchants by launching a series of informative installation videos, available to watch via its website.

Each video focuses on key products available from Glidevale Protect’s range, including the all-aluminium ventilated dry-fix ridge and hip systems, Protect Fulmetal RediRoll and Fulmetal UniRoll and their universal tile vent solutions. The ‘how to’ videos show the installation process for each product step-by-step in a way that is easy to understand and clear to follow. More videos will be added to the collection in due course.

New Digital Resources

The installation videos are the latest in a series of helpful online resources which Glidevale Protect has created to support those specifying and installing its products.

Earlier this year the team released two visual flow chart technical guides which can be used to determine the correct roof space ventilation requirements depending on the type of pitched roofing underlay used, for both permeable and impermeable roof coverings, to ensure compliance with BS 5250.

Additionally, to help specifiers navigate the often-conflicting information about ventilation requirements for pitched roofs featuring solar PV panels, Glidevale Protect has created an FAQ document which answers some of the most commonly asked ventilation questions when in-roof solar is used. All of this guidance is free to download and access via Glidevale Protect’s website.
