Sam Bawden will be helping NWRTG members gain the advantage by offering top tips on contracts and overcoming common stumbling blocks. Sam is a partner in the construction division of Holmes & Hills Solicitors. He has a wealth of experience as a specialist Construction Law solicitor and represents developers and employers, main contractors, and subcontractors in all parts of the country. He works closely alongside project managers, architects, construction consultants, contracts managers and dispute resolution service providers, in servicing and advising mutual clients. With experience of adjudication, including enforcement in the Technology and Construction Court, arbitration, and litigation in all courts, Sam advises clients on contracts and terms in construction contracts. Sam regularly advises on contentious matters such as payment disputes, defective works, and extension of time claims. Recent cases have involved loss and expense claims, extra hire claims, professional appointments and professional negligence as well as collateral warranties.
