FP McCann Acquires Easy-Trim

Director of concrete products and roofing tile manufacturer FP McCann, Paul McCann has announced the acquisition of Easy-Trim Roofing & Construction Products.

News of Easy-Trim entering administration broke in November 2025 creating fears for the jobs of the its 64 employees.

Parent company Memtech Ltd said in the company’s annual report that Easy-Trim’s turnover remained steady in 2025, with a 1.7% increase at £20,673,115 (2024: £20,425,116). The company also received a “significant” cash injection from Memtech when its directors bought the 40% of shares they did not already own.

On Easy-Trim’s administration, parent company Memtech registered an “impairment charge of £232,983, writing off a total debt of £305,381, which appears to be primarily owed to HSBC bank, as an invoice factoring agent.

FP McCann Acquires Easy-Trim

FP McCann’s acquisition of Easy-Trim in 2026 is in line with its growth strategy which includes a series of acquisitions over the past decade. The Northern Ireland headquartered company has grown to achieve a turnover of £415.3 million in 2024, with profit after tax of £52.5 million.

Director Paul McCann says the acquisition of Easy-Trim will be “further enhancing our product offering across our Plastic’s division.”

An FP McCann spokesperson commented: “This move strengthens the company’s ability to serve as a single-source supplier to contractors, developers, and builders, simplifying procurement and ensuring greater on-site material compatibility.

This partnership allows us to provide an even more robust and complete offering to the construction industry, reinforcing our position as a one-stop shop for high-performance building materials.”

FP McCann started concrete roof tile manufacture in the UK in 2023 with the opening of its state-of-the-art, £30 million facility at Cadeby in Leicestershire. The factory has the capacity to produce 60 million roof tiles annually.
