Read the latest magazine Industry News Forty Jobs Under Threat as Roofing Firm Goes Bust 24 June 2024 AROUND 40 JOBS are under threat as a Bristol roofing contractors has called in the administrators. Bristol based Davis Roofing supplied roofing, cladding, and insulation services under a five-year framework, which comes to an end in October 2025. Davis Roofing, which was as established in 2006, had a place on two lots in the Crescent Purchasing Consortium’s minor works framework. The framework specialises in procurement for further education and school organisations. The company supplied a range of composite panel and site-assembled roof and wall systems. It also provided domestic and industrial roofing and leadwork. Davis Roofing is a subsidiary of parent company, Davis Roofing Group, which is also based in Bristol and remains in business. Roofing Firm Goes Bust Jonathan Dunn and Matthew Whitchurch of FRP Advisory’s Bristol office are overseeing Davis Roofing’s administration. The business’s most recent accounts for the 12 month period to 31 March 2023 showed that the value of Davis Roofing Ltd’s fixed assets dropped from £225,148 in 2021/22 to £89,308 a year later. The firm’s net assets totalled £212,611. Debts owed to creditors last year were £397,461, including £209,252 owed to trade creditors and loans of £7,040.
