Family-Run Roofing Firm Named Scotland’s Best Roofing Contractor 2022

FAMILY-RUN roofing firm Copper & Grey Roofing was named Scotland’s Best Roofing Contractor 2022 at the 7^th annual Scottish Home Improvement Awards at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow, Scotland.

The company is expert in specialist traditional standing seam roofing and cladding using metals such as zinc, copper, and lead, and has experience working on major projects and domestic new builds and extensions.

Copper & Grey Roofing was established by cousins Anton and Charles McCormick. The cousins previously worked for their fathers’ roofing firm for 20 years since they were 16 years old. In 2019, the cousins branched out from the family business to set up one of their own.

Anton says over the past two years the business has grown substantially: “we are extremely busy with our own work but we still maintain a good relationship with our dads’ company and always do a job for them now and again as that family business will always hold sentimental value to us considering we helped build it up for 20 years”.
