Entries Open for UK Roofing Awards 2026

ENTRIES FOR the next NFRC UK Roofing Awards taking place in 2026 are now open.

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) says projects completed between the start of January and end of December 2025 by a roofing contractor belonging to NFRC or other roofing trade associations are eligible to enter.

Entries can be submitted via the dedicated awards portal on the NFRC website.

The 2026 awards ceremony will be held at Intercontinental London—The O2 on Friday 8 May 2026.

UK Roofing Awards 2026

There are sixteen categories covering the full range of roofing disciplines, alongside three individual awards.

Awards are given for projects in the following categories:

  • Bituminous Hot Applied Liquid Waterproofing
  • Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing
  • Fully Supported Metal
  • Green Roofing
  • Heritage Roofing
  • Leadwork
  • Mastic Asphalt
  • Multi-discipline Project (over £250k)
  • Rainscreen Facade
  • Reinforced Bitumen Membrane
  • Roof Slating
  • Roof Tiling
  • Sheeting & Cladding
  • Single Ply Roofing
  • Project Under £25k
  • Solar

The shortlisting panel and team of judges look at these five key elements when scoring category entries. These are: complexity; challenge; workmanship; safety; and project management.

NFRC advises that any images submitted should be at least 2MB in size. Images should depict the full project throughout, rather than just upon completion. Entrants should also make sure images show correct PPE and good health and safety in all photographs. The organisation also advises against submitting too many drone photos as they can often look quite similar.

The awards also recognise individuals’ talents and contributions in the following categories:

  • Young Roofer of the Year
  • Health and Safety Individual of the Year
  • Local Hero award (entries submitted via SIG Roofing)

One project will be awarded Project of the Year, and the Radmat Industry Choice Award will be given to the shortlisted project with the highest total of public votes.

NFRC encourages manufacturers, architects, and everyone working alongside roofers and cladders to submit entries for those they’re impressed with.

Entries close on Friday 9 January 2026Full entry criteria can be found here.

Tickets will be available to purchase soon. If you are interested in sponsoring, entering, or attending the awards, contact events@nfrc.co.uk.
