Covid-19 Site Operating Procedures Version 3 Published

THE CONSTRUCTION Leadership Council has now produced a third version of its guidance for working safely onsite during the coronavirus outbreak.

The Site Operating Procedures (SOP) version 3 is intended to introduce consistent measures on construction sites of all types and sizes in line with the Government’s recommendations on social distancing and ensure employers and individuals make every effort to comply.

The six-page pdf booklet states the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is the relevant enforcing authority for Public Health England (PHE) guidelines and warns that if a site is not consistently implementing the measures set out by PHE, it may be subject to enforcement action.
