Read the latest magazine Industry News Contractor Boosts Vehicle Fleet with New Additions 2 June 2025 PHOENIX CONSORTIA has invested in two new Versalift cherry pickers and a second Mercedes crane truck to add to its specialist fleet of vehicles. The new vehicles will help the multi-discipline contractors – incorporating Howard Evans Roofing and Cladding, SPV Special Projects and Ivor Parnham Building Services – to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality roofing and cladding solutions. Extended Vehicle Fleet The Mercedes Actros crane truck, a 44-tonne powerhouse equipped with the HMF 3220 crane and a hydraulic hoist, will give the company serious reach and lifting strength, with: 25.8-metre reach 450kg lifting capacity at full extension Hydraulic hoist rated to 1950kg Ideal for placing materials over high-level roofs, parapets, and into tight access areas, this second truck will double Phoenix Consortia’s operational capacity. The extended fleet also includes two brand-new Versalift truck-mounted cherry pickers, giving the team the flexibility to work safely at height across even more site types.
