The CIJC website is inaugurated in partnership with Construction Industry Publications Limited. It provides guidance on terms and conditions of employment, including current national minimum rates of pay for those working in the building and civil engineering industry. Steve Smith, Secretary to the Employers Group said: “We hope that this website will provide employers and operatives with up-to-date information about the agreement. Over the past 18 months we have seen how important it is to be able to update all those covered by the Agreement quickly, as the industry worked to maintain a safe and productive work environment during some very difficult times. The website will allow us in the future to respond in a much more agile way to the needs of the industry.” Working Rule Agreement The launch of the website is part of a drive to modernise the agreement and provide cost free access to the Agreement to employers, employer organisations, those working in the industry and trade unions representing those working in the industry. Alasdair Reisner, Chief Executive of CECA said “The Civil Engineering Contractors Association welcomes the launch of the CIJC website. Access to the Working Rule Agreement and the ability to raise questions and seek guidance is welcomed by our member companies.” Previous article New Home Registrations Hit 14-year HighNext article Builders’ Merchants’ Total Sales Up as Most Categories Recovering Share article You may also like View all News Industry News +2 20 March 2026 RA Issues Revised Safety Guidance on Rooflight Covers Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Green Roofs +3 20 March 2026 Swansea Joins Global Network of Biophilic Cities Featured Solutions +3 19 March 2026 Flush Fitting Rooflights by Clement Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
