CCPI Welcomes New Demand-Side Supporter

THE CODE for Construction Product Information (CCPI) has welcomed its latest demand-side supporter with the addition of major housebuilder, Bellway Homes.

As a CCPI Demand Side Supporter, Bellway Homes joins contractors, developers and housebuilders who have stepped up to support the CCPI. They have signed a pledge to work with their suppliers and manufacturers to drive CCPI conformance and raise standards in the industry.

Bellway Homes will now require its strategic suppliers and manufacturers of construction products in its supply chain to register with CCPI and begin the process of their product information being assessed against the CCPI.

The pledge includes agreeing that CCPI conformance will be delivered as soon as possible and within a time frame. CCPI Supporters introduce this commitment into supply agreements as a preference. They prioritise working with suppliers and manufacturers who give precedence to delivery of CCPI assessment and conformance.
