New Site Chandlers Building Supplies has operated in Thanet for over 12 years, but took the decision to relocate its branch from Ocivan Way, Margate to a newly developed operation at the Old Timber Yard, Ramsgate. While also bringing new employment opportunities to the area, the extensive footprint of the new store and yard allows the outlet to offer a vastly expanded range of roofing products. Roofing Expert Unique to the Thanet branch is a dedicated self-builder and roofing advisor, Lee Blythe. Chandlers believe Lee is an unrivalled source of knowledge to help roofers, builders and developers’ source and manage their roofing projects. Branch Manager John Rose said: “This is a large investment and has delivered a brand-new offering with great scope for future growth. “As part of this expansion we have expanded our roofing offering too.” Chandlers is an independent builders’ merchant with branches across the South East of England.
