Builders Merchant Earns Finalist Status for Up-Coming Business Awards

CHANDLERS Building Supplies is a ‘Company of the Year’ finalist in this year’s Sussex Business Awards.

The builders merchant, with 4 of its 13 outlets in Sussex: Lewes, Brighton, Ringmer and Petworth, was recognised with a Sussex Super Growth Award earlier in the year and was also listed in the London Stock Exchange group list as one of the country’s ‘Top 1000 companies to Inspire Britain’ – that celebrates the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

Finalist Status

In 2018, its 25th year, Chandlers Building Supplies also reports an increase in turnover of just under 20% on the previous financial year, with an 18% growth in net profit and has expanded its staff numbers by a third over the last year.
