Read the latest magazine Industry News Merchants Builders’ Merchant Branch Relocation Creates Four New Jobs 14 June 2024 BUIDLERS’ MERCHANT Travis Perkins will relocate its Lee Green branch 0.2 miles from Burnt Ash Works to Burnt Ash Hill, creating an extra four full-time jobs, making a total team of 20. The new branch is set to open its doors on the 2 July and will offer a new, bigger and purpose-built destination, with more space to provide a larger product range for customers. Branch Relocation The new branch is 1.3 acres in size and will include a Benchmarx Kitchens showroom. With sustainability in mind, the site will include electric forklift trucks, e-charging points and solar panels to minimise operating emissions. Other services available at the new site will include an estimating service and a paint mixing service. Branch Manager Robert Pizzy says: “We’ve been serving the local community of tradespeople and builders in South East London for over 25 years and we can’t wait to open our bigger and better site to offer them an even greater service and range of products. “We have a great team in place and are ready to serve as a one-stop shop for everyone’s building and construction needs.
