BMI Strengthens Contractor Support with Flat Roofing Team

The team is led by Charles Pierce, National Sales Director for Flat Roofing, supported by Dan Birkin, Regional Sales Director for Flat West and James Collett, Regional Sales Director for Flat East.

Roofing specialist BMI UK & Ireland has appointed a flat roofing leadership team to strengthen support for its IMA approved contractor network and improve collaboration between specification and installation across flat roofing projects.

The new structure is intended to support contractors by ensuring projects reach site with clearer specifications, stronger technical backing and improved coordination.

BMI says by strengthening the connection between design and delivery, it aims to help contractors install high-performance flat roofing systems with greater confidence.

Flat Roofing Team

With more than 40 years of combined experience within the construction industry, BMI’s flat roofing leadership team will provide technical advice on flat roofing systems, support education through CPDs and webinars, and offer guidance on regulatory requirements such as the Building Safety Act.

Chris Nicholls, Commercial Director at BMI UK & Ireland, said: “This approach aims to strengthen the full project chain. By supporting specification decisions earlier, we can help create clearer pathways through to installation, reducing uncertainty on site and supporting better outcomes for IMA contractors.”
