Avonside Recognised as Fully Compliant with Updated ISO 45001

FOLLOWING AN external audit, Avonside Group Services has been recognised as fully compliant with the updated ISO 45001, two years ahead of the scheduled deadline.

The recognition of compliance with the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) standard for occupational health and safety has been achieved thanks to the commitment of all management staff within the Group, from Board level down to the operational levels at each branch.

Under the successful leadership of Group Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager, Sarah Burke and the Health and Safety team, Avonside have embedded policies and processes that have delivered a standardised management approach across all areas of the Group.

Avonside Compliance

The compliance covers areas such as vetting and approval of contractors working with the Group and root and branch evaluation of areas of risk backed by policies that actively reduce hazards across all areas of the business.
