Read the latest magazine Industry News Applications Invited to Join LHC’s Consultancy Services Public Sector Framework 12 August 2022 SPECIALIST CONSTRUCTION, asset management, and energy (EPC) consultants can now apply to join a new framework to provide consultancy services for the construction of public sector buildings and homes. LHC’s Consultancy Services (CS1) framework will enable public sector procurement teams to source a range of consultancy services – including architecture, civil and structural engineering and mechanical, electrical and plumbing – from trusted suppliers already recognised for their specialist expertise. It brings together LHC’s Housing (H1 WS1) consultancy framework and expands on it to include additional services required by public sector bodies to procure expert advisory services for their construction projects. Placing them under one umbrella makes it easier for procurement teams to source the range of services they need and provides a more efficient procurement route. New Framework The new framework covers LHC regions including Scotland, through Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA), South West England, through South West Procurement Alliance (SWPA), and Wales, through Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA), London and South East (LSE) and across the Midlands and North through Consortium Procurement Construction (CPC). It should be noted some services listed under the framework will only be available to apply for in the Scottish, South West England and Wales regions due to existing framework solutions available in some regions. Dean Fazackerley, Head of Technical Procurement at LHC, said: “Our aim is always to provide the tools to enable procurement teams to identify and secure the services they need as efficiently as possible. The new CS1 framework supports this aim by bringing together a number of consultancy services required giving procurement teams easier access to a wide range of specialist consultancy services. “As well as supporting an efficient procurement process, we hope the opportunity to join this framework will encourage applications from a wider variety of suppliers and present an opportunity for SMEs to apply for the framework and develop closer links with the public sector, and we have set out award procedures to support this.” Suppliers can apply to join the CS1 framework from 11 August 2022.
