Read the latest magazine Industry News People Antoine Giros Appointed Country Chief Executive of Bureau Veritas UK 29 May 2024 BUREAU VERITAS, the testing, inspection, and certification business, has appointed Antoine Giros as country chief executive for its operations in the UK and Ireland. He follows Ken Smith who moves into the role of vice president in Europe. As chief executive, Antoine will focus on improving financial performance by leading the definition and implementation of Bureau Veritas’ strategic plan, LEAP2028. This plan is designed to scale and expand operations, diversifying the service portfolio, and capitalising on emerging growth opportunities. New Country Chief Executive Laurent Louail, Executive Vice President at Bureau Veritas, said: “I am delighted to welcome Antoine Giros to the South & West Europe Leadership Team. “With his technical expertise, in-depth knowledge of Bureau Veritas and business acumen, he will drive and lead our future ambitions in UK and Ireland.
