The building products company announced the suspension today, saying a full investigation is being undertaken, supported by its professional advisors. Vijay Thakrar, Non-Executive Chair, will assume the role and responsibilities of Executive Chair temporarily. Vijay will be supported by Alumasc’s management teams, including the Group’s divisional managing directors and the CFO, who have around 35 years’ combined tenure at Alumasc. Pamela Bingham began working for Alumasc in March 2026, initially taking up the CEO role as designate before assuming it fully in April. She has a strong track record in senior leadership roles, having joined Alumasc from ERIKS, an industrial service provider, where she was CEO for two and a half years. She has also been a CEO for Glen Dimplex and a non-executive director of Tyman plc. CEO Suspended News of the CEO’s suspension came as Alumasc plc posted a trading update. Alumasc says it “continues to deliver a very resilient performance amidst a challenging market backdrop, and enters the new financial year with a significantly expanded order book.” The company says it will further update shareholders in due course. In its full year trading update for FY26, revenue is expected to be £107 million, down from £113 million in FY25, and underlying profit before tax anticipated at £10 million, a decrease from £14 million in the prior year, reflecting challenging macroeconomic conditions and delays in order conversion. Of its three divisions, Housebuilding saw revenue growth of c.16% on the previous year, Building Envelope revenues are similar and Water Management revenues declined c.16%. >> Read more about Alumasc in the news Previous article School Roof Fall Has Lifelong Life-Changing ImpactNext article Tender Listing Firm Reports £19.8B in H1 Construction Project Awards Share article You may also like View all News Industry News +2 17 July 2026 150 More Schools to Get Rooftop Solar Under PPA Pilot Industry News +1 17 July 2026 Tender Listing Firm Reports £19.8B in H1 Construction Project Awards Health & Safety +3 16 July 2026 School Roof Fall Has Lifelong Life-Changing Impact Check out the latest issue 125 July-August 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch
