Charity says a big CRASH thank you as construction industry raises £80,709 for CRASH Christmas card appeal supporting homelessness charities and hospices

Wow! As an industry, you raised an incredible £80,709 to support CRASH’s vital work constructing places that care for people who are homeless and children and adults receiving end of life care in a hospice. Thank you to all the companies who kindly supported the CRASH Christmas card appeal at the end of last year.

CRASH’s work has not stopped throughout the pandemic, and we continue to respond requests from homelessness charities and hospices for help with their construction projects.

CRASH Thank You

It is only thanks to the success of fundraising campaigns like the Christmas card appeal and the generosity of the industry that we can fulfil our mission to construct places that care for people when they’re at their most vulnerable.

The idea behind the 2021 campaign was the ‘gift that gives back’ as the value of your donations are more than a number. By donating to CRASH at Christmas, companies support our year-round projects to help communities across the UK and deliver lasting impact to the many vulnerable people who benefit from CRASH projects. Whether it’s a new bedroom for someone who has been homeless or a welcoming dining room for hospice patients to share meals and memories with their families; the difference you make to individual lives is huge.

Last year was CRASH’s 25th anniversary year and 2022 promises to be busy and rewarding, from the return of popular events to landmark charity projects. Thank you to everyone who has supported CRASH and we hope you join us this year to help homeless men and women and children and adults who need hospice care.
