Rooflight Association Announces First Voice of the Industry Award Winner

The Rooflight Association has declared Jeremy Dunn, Group Compliance Director at Glazing Vision, as the winner of the inaugural Voice of the Industry Award.

The award was presented to Jeremy in recognition of his ongoing outstanding contribution to The Rooflight Association, the wider rooflighting sector, and his dedication to advancing industry standards and best practice.

Presented at the association’s AGM Dinner on Wednesday 15 April, the Voice of the Industry Award has been introduced to celebrate individuals who actively promote, protect and develop the rooflighting sector.

After dedicating 38 years to the rooflight industry, Jeremy continues to play a pivotal role in shaping its future. As an active member of The Rooflight Association’s Technical Committee, Jeremy has represented the RA at both European and International levels. He chairs a BSI Committee, participates in a CEN working group, and was integral to the European Commission’s Construction Products Regulation (CPR) Aquis Sub-group 4.

Commended Nominees

The Rooflight Association also commended the two other shortlisted nominees, Adam Neat from Velux Commercial and Jon Shooter from Glazing Vision for their significant contributions to the industry.

The award is particularly meaningful as it is voted for by industry peers, reflecting the high regard in which Jeremy is held across the sector.

During the award presentation, Mark Wilcox, Chair of The Rooflight Association, shared comments from those who nominated Jeremy, noting: “Jeremy is a true expert and hugely valued member of our industry. His sustained contribution to The Rooflight Association, particularly in the development of European product standards, has been exceptional. His knowledge, dedication and collaborative approach continue to raise standards across the sector. He can be relied upon for considered and sound advice, delivered in his trademark calm and reassuring manner. This award is well deserved.”
