SIG Roofing Crowned National Merchant of the Year

SIG ROOFING has won the ‘National Merchant of the Year’ category at the Builders Merchants Journal Industry Awards 2025, held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, Tower Bridge in London on Thursday 25 September.

Up against stiff competition from City Plumbing, Huws Gray, Jewson, the other finalists, this was the first time a roofing merchant has won the award.

“It was a very proud moment indeed,” said Lotty Pritchard, Marketing Director for SIG UK Roofing. “The team has worked tirelessly over the past few years to increase service levels for our customers, safety levels for all and to improve our customer experience with investment into new and renovated branch locations.

“We have also massively increased the engagement activities that we design for all our customers whether pure product promotions, wellbeing initiatives or game led prize campaigns. They all emphasise that a relationship with SIG Roofing isn’t just about a transaction it’s about having fun and positive interaction and support with our local customers and communities. This prestigious award recognises all that work, and we are very grateful.”

Chris Lodge, Managing Director at SIG UK Roofing added: “I am incredibly proud of everyone in SIG UK Roofing for achieving this award which is great recognition for the strides we have made over the last few years by focusing on the simple things that make a difference; our people and our customers. Watching our colleagues succeed by working together with purpose, passion and commitment is inspiring and certainly makes my job easier.”
