NHTG Bursary Scheme Offers Paid Heritage Roofing Training

The NHTG bursary scheme is open for applications for exciting paid apprenticeships at built heritage construction companies.

The placements, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund give a trainee the opportunity to work alongside a team of specialist craftspeople on historic buildings, focusing on developing skills in conservation and restoration. The placements offer a broad range of learning opportunities and allow trainees to work towards a Level 3 Heritage Skills NVQ.

Trainee Heritage Slating and Tiling placement, Sussex

A wonderful opportunity to join Specialist Historic Building Conservation contractor Fildes Roofing Ltd. for a one year placement, carrying out slating and tiling work and repairs at a range of sites in Sussex and the surrounding area.

Trainee Heritage Hard Metal Roofing placement, Surrey
